SRT Step-By-Step

.

Here’s what will happen when you adopt SRT® for your school, for another type of institution, or for a multi-systemic collaborative project. Together with you, we will go through a five-step process of adoption, implementation, outcome measurement and quality assurance. These steps are:

  1. Assessing Your Needs. You know which students need support for school success, usually because they are standing in the way of their own learning. In this first step, we meet with you to understand the young people and families you serve so we can help you assist those students who are not gaining the skills they need for employment and for life. Together, we review a range of potential solutions to help you identify the one(s) that will serve your objectives.
  2. Program Design. We consult individually with each school, agency and community group involved, designing an intervention program that will meet students’ needs and school objectives. We present this plan so all stakeholders can reach consensus before program implementation.
  3. Staff Training. We provide in-depth, on-site training in SRT to school teachers, counselors, social workers and administrators, and to professionals from criminal justice and social services agencies. Our step-by-step instruction bridges the gap between theory and practice. Our training builds the foundation for multi-systemic alignment for each system serving youth and families.
  4. Ongoing Program Support. We follow up intensive SRT training with on-site quality assurance and consultation visits to help your staff maintain program quality and integrity. We do what is needed to achieve program success.
  5. Ongoing Evaluation. We track the results of all SRT programs to make certain we achieve desired results and to continually improve our curriculum. We quantify the results achieved, in both human and financial terms, including retention of critical school revenue.
